Born in 1972 in Zagreb, Julije Domac obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb. Today, he serves as the director of REGEA, one of Europe’s most successful energy agencies and a pioneer in energy transition in Croatia! Julije Domac is the first advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia on energy and climate. He is also the president of FEDARENE – the European Association of Regional and Energy Agencies based in Brussels, serving in his fourth term since 2003. He is a member of the Political Committee of the Covenant of Mayors initiative.
