Petra Salarić, PhD, is a multi-award-winning researcher, designer, activist, and the founder of pstaboo, an organisation specialising in taboo and sensitive conversations that has reached over 3,000 people through workshops, panels, talks, and educational programmes. After nearly a decade of working in design and art across three continents, Petra specialised in taboo research and developed the first existing framework for integrating taboos into projects. FemTech India named Petra one of the 200 most influential people in women’s health. Alongside CESI, pstaboo conducted the first research in the region on the impact of menstruation and menopause on working lives. The findings were presented to the Gender Equality Committee of the Croatian Parliament and have initiated conversations around women’s health policies.
