Goran Krajacic is an associated professor at University of Zagreb – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. He has been working on many international, EU and national projects for development of smart and sustainable energy systems with 100% supply from renewable sources. Currently, he is coordinating FSB’s participation in the Horizon 2020 project INSULAE- Maximizing the impact of innovative energy approaches in the EU islands ().
Since 2002 he has been a member of local organising committee of the SDEWES Conferences and with other professors he established the International Centre for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems – SDEWES in 2008. Goran acts as Energy Transition in Urban Regions Working group leader at the European Sustainable Energy Innovation Alliance – eseia and he is Editorial Board Member at the journal Smart Energy and guest editor at the journal Energy Conversion and Management.
