Benjamin Noah Maričak

Head of Video Games and New Technologies @Croatian Audiovisual Centre

In charge of video games and new technologies in the Office of the Chief Executive (CEO) at the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC). His aim is to locate opportunities for collaboration between the cultural and creative industries, particularly in the use of new technologies in the development and production process. At HAVC, his responsibilities include promoting the gaming industry and encouraging collaboration through the use of new technologies in the gaming, film, and TV industries.

At the Academy of Dramatic Arts at the University of Zagreb, he obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Production. He received a certificate as a video game producer through the Edu4Games program, which was funded by the EU and implemented by five faculties at the University of Zagreb. 

In addition to gaming, he is a producer and/or creator of many films that have been shown at dozens of national and international festivals. His short sitcom TV show, The EU Office, which was financed by EU, was shown on Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) numerous times. Selected to participate as the only Croatian representative in the Producer’s Summit at the 2021 edition of Talents Sarajevo, which is part of the Berlinale Talents network.
