Tana Zimmermann is CEO and Co-founder of Bazzar.hr, the fastest growing online marketplace in Croatia soon to expand its business outside the national boundaries. Winner of MBA Croatia Award in the category “Business-woman of the year 2020”.
She has started her professional career in the hospitality industry, working for Tarrytown House Estate, a historical mansion on Hudson, New York, as Front Office intern and she has worked her way up to the leadership positions of Front Office Supervisor and, finally, Guest Services Manager responsible for the entire hotel operation.
After officially graduating from RIT Croatia, where she has pursued a bachelor’s degree in Service Management, in 2009. She has joined the sales team of globally recognized corporation Philip Morris International where she stayed almost for four years working at three different managerial positions.
Even though her experience with Philip Morris was really a valuable one, in 2013. she has decided to make a career twist and launch her own business in the e-commerce field. Thanks to her entrepreneurial spirit, solid market knowledge and her brother’s expertise in IT and programming, today Bazzar.hr is a renowned tech company with a lucrative business model recognized by more than 250 000 of satisfied customers.
Except for her principal task of running a company, she is also quite involved in the e-commerce community and often takes part in numerous professional events as a speaker, panelist, or supporter.
