Born in Varaždin, he has been skiing since a very young age. His parents, who were his role models in the world of sports, inspired him. His father was an alpinist, and his mother practiced rhythmic gymnastics. He first stepped onto skis at the age of three, and began training professionally at the age of six. At the age of 12, he decided to dedicate his life to professional alpine skiing. In 2016, he won the title of junior world champion in slalom. At the 2018 Olympic Games, he finished 21st in slalom, and a year later won the small crystal globe in slalom at the Europa Cup in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys practicing martial arts and engaging in extreme sports.
