Dalibor managing INVENTO team that has extensive experience in building an innovation ecosystem, evaluation of business proposals and investing in them, startup incubation and acceleration, coaching, and mentoring. INVENTO is specialized in fostering innovation in Croatia, Slovenia, and the Western Balkan region and as a HUB Croatia powered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) act as an innovation fund with a network of more than 460 partners that build connections with industry, researchers, entrepreneurs and markets across Europe and investing in innovative projects in the area of cleantech, sustainable energy, smart cities, and mobility.
Dalibor graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science and he holds MBA of University of Zagreb. He started his professional career as a software developer. In 2007, he took the role of President of the board Business Innovation Centre of Croatia – BICRO. As President of the board in Business innovation Croatian Agency – BICRO he managed Investment Portfolio sized over 50 million EUR in innovation projects, managed to raise 20 MEUR loan from the World Bank, and was responsible for IPA Major Project application Incubator for bioscience BIOCenter executing investment more the 18 MEUR.
