Damir Sabol is a successful startup entrepreneur based in Zagreb, Croatia. He is the co-founder and CEO of Photomath, one of the most popular educational apps in the world with more than 220 million downloads globally. Photomath is headquartered in San Mateo, California, with offices in Zagreb, Croatia, and globally has over 100 employees.
He is also the co-founder of Microblink, R&D company that produces AI based computer vision and data extraction software technology. Before that, he was the founder and CEO of Iskon, the first private internet service provider and one of the first VC-backed companies in Croatia. Damir has technical background – a degree in Electrical Engineering /Computer Technology from the Zagreb University. Building new, exciting products based on new technologies is something he enjoys the most. In the last several years his professional interests lie in using a mobile camera and the power of software and Artificial Intelligence to simplify and improve learning for millions of people around the world.
