Diana is CEO & Founder at the strategic consultancy Spona Code. She also serves as the president of the MODE1, an NGO convening companies and individuals dedicated to gender equality. Her background is in psychology, communications, marketing, business development, teaching, coaching and female leadership. She is the founder of MAMFORCE© – a DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) certification system which evaluates gender equity and work-life integration in the workplace, thus supporting transformation of companies into more inclusive and diverse organizations, with improved employee engagement, healthier workplaces and superior productivity. There are currently 50 MAMFORCE-certified organizations, resulting in more equitable working conditions for some 40.000 employees.
She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, Organizational Development and an MBA from IE Business School. She is also a PhD candidate in the field of social policy with research interest in gender equality. Diana is passionate about women empowerment and is recognized as an opinion maker and author on the issue of women in business. She runs female leadership program DaringlyHER – Unleash Your Leadership Potential, and collaborates with a number of international organizations: UN Global Compact, UN Women and Unicef Croatia, where she serves as the member of the Advisory Board for Children’s Rights and CSR.
Diana has received many awards for her work including 2016 Alumni Achievement Award from the IEDC – Bled School of Management for her leadership and outstanding contribution to community, the Best Female Entrepreneur Award 2018 from Women in Adria. Also, her company Spona Code won Engine of Change Award 2020 for promoting diversity, and was finalist for the Leadership Award at the G7-EU Women’s Empowerment Principles #WEPsAward organized by UN Women and Global Compact.
