Gordana Coric is a teacher, trainer, mentor, researcher and program/project manager. She currently teaches at the University of Applied Sciences VERN’ (Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, Design Thinking for Business Growth, Dynamic Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics and Culture, Managing Growing Companies, Business Consulting and Advisory Services, etc.). Her previous work experience includes several years of coordination of various projects for fast-growing companies at the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) in Amsterdam, and work for the American organization World Learning in projects of education of entrepreneurs and economic empowerment of women. She has published over 30 professional, scientific and review papers.
She cooperates with many civil society organizations, including: IMPACT HUB, TerraHub, Croatian Employers’ Association, Crowdfunding Academy, Reach for Change, HULT PRIZE, Croatian Franchising Association, Social Innovation Lab, SLAP, CEPOR. She is active in several networks of trainers/consultants: for crowdfunding, franchising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), social entrepreneurship (CEDRA), impact investing, etc.
Her teaching, mentoring and research interests include entrepreneurship (dynamic, women, rural, social, corporate, etc.), economic empowerment of marginalized groups, start-ups, growth strategies for small and medium enterprises, social innovation, design thinking, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, marketing, franchising, regional development, cross-sectoral cooperation, etc.
