Digital skills policy officer, optimist, runner and train lover from the European Commission

Today, more than ever before, every person needs digital skills. And Jakub’s job is to bring them to every European no matter their age, education, job or the place they live in. Jakub helps to run EU Code Week and the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition. With several like-minded people, he isĀ building the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform that should become the home of digital skills in Europe. His current work has one ultimate objective: to bridge the digital skills gap in Europe. He also has broad experience in community management and communication. He studied Political science at the Charles University in Prague, did Erasmus in Paris and worked also a a reporter in Czech TV news channels.
