After a master’s degree at the London School of Economics, Luka Juroš started working at the Ministry of Science and Education, where, for eight years, he led the field of higher education, including EU funds, reforms of financing, models of scholarships, and students’ meals. After a year of training in the US, on a Fulbright-Humphrey scholarship, he left the Ministry in 2014 to start working at the European Commission in Brussels. There he led the drafting of the EU Strategy for Education until 2030 and the EU Report on employment and social protection. Before returning to Croatia to become the Head of the Education, Sports, and Youth Office of the City of Zagreb, he coordinated the national recovery and resilience plans of Italy, Luxembourg, and Lithuania in the field of education and employment.
