Magda Milas is the president and co-founder of the “Alice in Blockchains” association. She graduated in Marketing from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb, after which she gained experience working at Erste Bank in the area of economic sectors, managing financial resources, working with European development banks, export and trade financing, as well as working with international non-resident corporate clients. After her time at the bank, she continued her work experience at one of the largest Croatian fintech companies – Electrocoin. At Electrocoin, she was responsible for business development and participated in projects to integrate cryptocurrencies as a payment method in a range of online stores, throughout a chain of gas stations across Croatia – Tifon, the webshop of the Croatian retail chain Konzum, LAQO digital insurance of Croatia Insurance, as well as a project to introduce buying and selling in 55 Croatian Post offices. Currently, she is developing the fintech area at one of the largest Croatian telecom companies – A1. In her free time, she enjoys diving and holds a private pilot’s license for single-engine propeller planes. She is also a mother of a 5-year-old girl.
