Marija is young and ambitious PR practitioner. Volarević graduated at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb and since than she works in a PR agency and is specialized for political communication, government and local government communication and strategic communication. She collaborated on several political and public campaigns.
At the VERN’ University of Applied Sciences she teaches several courses in the field of new media and public relations: Internet and Social Media, Digital communication and Content management. Her scientific interest are: social media communication, online public relations and online journalism. Also, she is a young researcher at the Institute for New media and e-democracy and is participating on several research project dealing with new media and its impact on communication, on society, on media and on brand communication.
