Born in 1980 in Zagreb. Graduated in 2007 from the University of Zagreb Medical Faculty and was awarded the Dean’s Prize for scientific work during his studies. Started his career as a research fellow at the Radiology Department of Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital and started a residency in radiology at the Sv. Duh Hospital in 2008, where he later stayed as a specialist until 2016. Afterward, he moved to Thalassotherapia in Opatija and became the Head of the Diagnostic Radiology Department at Srebrnjak DB Hospital in 2019. He eagerly introduced lung ultrasound as a new method in the hospital’s daily routine. From 2011 to 2018, he was the director of the neuroscience start-up Core Interface, within which several prototypes and products for neurorehabilitation after strokes and neurofeedback applications for athletes were developed. He was awarded several international awards as part of the project. Since 2011, he has been working in the private healthcare sector and promotes teleradiology and the implementation of artificial intelligence in radiology and medicine. He is the author and co-author of several scientific and popular medical articles. Since 2018, he has been active on social media with a public health mission of health literacy, for which he received the Croatian Public Relations Association “Communicator of the Year 2020” award. Since 2021, he has been a co-organizer of the medical communications summit “Back Together”, which covers current topics through a series of panels. Along with a podcast that presents people from the medical cluster he leads since 2018, in 2022 he started moderating the “Dr. Beck” show on Croatian Radio Television. In 2022, he co-founded the “Zora Foundation” to introduce cell immunotherapy in Croatia. In his free time, he volunteers with portable ultrasound with pleasure. He is a lover of new technology, a father and husband in the best edition.
