Dr. Slaven Stekovic has been working in the field of aging research for almost a decade. His focus lies mainly on nutritional interventions that prolong human life and health span by activating body’s own capacity to recycle broken and defect molecules and cells. Beside the basic research, Slaven has worked on commercialisation strategies and know-how translation from the lab to the end-consumer. His previous activities involved close collaboration with companies like Austrian Institute of Biotechnology, Siemens and Google Inc. He has been awarded several times for his inventions in the field of medicine and nutrition, and innovative business modelling and also both speaker and organizer at TEDx events.
Slaven is currently teaching innovation methods and research dissemination at the University of Graz, Austria. He is a founder and managing partner at TLL The Longevity Labs – a company that tackles the problem of aging and age-related health decline by slowing down the cellular aging and improving cellular recycling in the body. Slaven is a member of several international research association, including American Association for Advancement of Science.
